About the Position

Job Title: RN - Oncology Inpatient Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: NC or Compact Certifications: BLS, ONS/ONCC Must-Have: Charting experience with EPIC Description: We are seeking a qualified RN for an oncology inpatient position. The shift will be from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing. A valid NC or Compact nursing license is required. Certifications in BLS and ONS/ONCC are mandatory. Experience with EPIC charting is essential. The ideal candidate will have skills in accessing and managing ports, care coordination, and patient education. Knowledge in post-surgical care and recognizing abnormal lab values is important. Candidates should be familiar with managing side effects of cancer treatment. Teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary support staff are essential in this role.
