Title: Mechanical Estimator - Water & Wastewater Treatment
Location:  Apex, NC 27539 (Southwest Raleigh)
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 + Bonus

We specialize in heavy civil, industrial, and environmental construction projects . The Apex office focuses on water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and related infrastructure . Our clients include municipalities, utilities, and industrial organizations seeking reliable solutions for clean water and environmental compliance. As a Mechanical Estimator, you will prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical systems and equipment, supporting project bids and execution.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop detailed mechanical cost estimates for water and wastewater treatment plant projects
• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to determine scope of work
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical data
• Prepare bid proposals, budgets, and cost breakdowns for mechanical systems and equipment
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for accuracy and competitiveness
• Support project teams during preconstruction and execution phases with cost analysis and forecasting

What You Need for This Position

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of estimating experience in mechanical systems for water/wastewater treatment or heavy civil construction
• Strong knowledge of pumps, piping, HVAC, and process equipment used in treatment facilities
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
