Take statements from insureds, claimants, and witnesses Obtain and review evidence, reports, and medical records Investigate losses and identify coverage issues. Research state laws and medical terms. Attends Basic Claims training, together with any other programs of study selected for the employee's training. Travel may be required during training. Formal Performance Evaluations must result in a "Meets Expectations" or higher rating. Bachelor's Degree or 1+ years of insurance experience or 3 years equivalent professional experience required. Strong customer service skills. Proficient typing/computer skills. Bilingual is a plus but not required.
