The successful candidate will be tasked with managing a diverse infrastructure team, including division-level managers in various operational and support functions. This role requires the execution of a local market strategy that aligns with the overall strategic operating and marketing plans, as well as the implementation of tactical initiatives to ensure functional excellence and budget achievement. The Area VP will also be responsible for driving change management, particularly in the introduction and sustenance of new processes that enhance the growth and durability of the business unit. Applicants for the Area VP position at the company should possess a high school diploma or G.E.D., with a minimum of 3 years' of progressive leadership and management experience, and at least 3 years' of P&L experience. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead large-scale change initiatives. Strong skills in problem-solving, decision-making, and the ability to optimize results for long-term success are essential. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, creative thinker, and a champion of ethical behavior, with the ability to manage a large span of control across multiple sites and business lines. While not mandatory, previous experience in the environmental services industry and a background with a Fortune 500 company are considered advantageous.
