About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Fund Finance and Strategy to take on a pivotal role in the Policy and Strategy department. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on complex fund transactions and their accounting treatment, as well as developing and maintaining accounting policies in line with U.S. GAAP. This role also involves researching and implementing new accounting standards, reviewing financial statements and regulatory filings, and ensuring the maintenance of SOX controls. The VP will be expected to partner with cross-functional teams to guarantee consistent accounting practices and support audit activities. Applicants for the VP of Fund Finance and Strategy position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA certification required. A background in public accounting or asset management is essential, with a preference for candidates who possess an entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership abilities, and excellent collaboration skills. The role demands a professional with 5-10 years' of public accounting experience, a strong knowledge of ASC 946 and ASC 820, and a proven track record in technical accounting research and policy development. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
