Multiple positions are available, each offering the chance to focus on the unique communication needs of learners and collaborate with dedicated school teams. Assignments span several campuses, including Forest Ridge Elementary, Swansfield Elementary, Elkridge Landing Middle, Hammond Middle, Howard High, and Wilde Lake High. Combination positions may be available for those seeking full-time roles—let us know your preferences for campus and schedule.
Candidates should have:
- Active Maryland SLP license (required prior to start)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Expertise in speech and language assessment, intervention, and documentation in school environments
- Ability to support students with diverse needs from elementary through high school
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Positive, professional approach to supporting students, families, and educators
- Flexibility to work ONSITE only (remote work not available for these assignments)
Expectations and responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students in group and individual settings
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and facilitate IEP meetings
- Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings and parent conferences
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative school environment
Be prepared to start by August 10, 2026, and continue through June 9, 2027, working up to 37.5 hours per week.
