Cook - Eliot Center for Health and Rehabilitation

As a Cook at our Skilled Nursing Facility, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
About the Role:
As a Cook with Live Well Healthcare Solutions, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently cooking a variety of meals, preparing and portioning food products, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. You will also act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager in their absence and assist with inventory management, purchasing, and recipe development. Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently cook an assortment of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking
Clean the kitchen before and after food service
Clean all kitchen equipment before and after use
Inventory management and purchasing
Rotation of stock
Recipe development and compliance
Capable of handling last-minute requests for special events

Classically trained and experienced in a high-volume culinary environment
Ability to follow and prepare standardized recipes
Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
Ability to work varying shifts, including every other weekend and holidays
