Family Medicine Physician Opportunity

Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine physician for a fast growing practice in Detroit Lakes, MN. The multispecialty group practice includes FM, IM, Dermatology, Audiology, Orthopedics, Ob/Gyn, Surgery, Podiatry, Optometry, Psychology, Psychiatry and Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapy. The service region is 55,000. Outreach specialties include: Allergy, Cardiology, Medical Oncology, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, Opthalmology, Pain Management, and Urology. Call is 1:6 shared with IM, but FM covers pediatrics call. Local hospital employs 24-7 hospitalist service. Also covering monthly nursing home/TCU rounds at local long term care facility. On-site pharmacy, walk-in clinic, lab, imaging and ambulatory surgical center.

Sanford Health offers a nationally competitive compensation plan with an additional physician benefits package including a health, dental and vision insurance, 401K plan, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, CME allowance, allowed time away, malpractice insurance and tail coverage, and a relocation allowance. Competitive compensation package includes: a compensation floor of $330,000 for the first two years of the employment contract, plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs. In addition, a $100,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 3 years (this will be subject to a contractual agreement specifying all details).
