As a Proposals Development Associate II at ICON, you will facilitate the development and preparation of proposals supporting Late Phase, Real World Evidence (RWE), observational, post-marketing, and non-interventional research programs, contributing to the generation of evidence that informs healthcare decisions and improves patient outcomes.

What You Will Do: Your experience in proposal development and understanding of Late Phase and Real World research will be key in delivering high-quality proposals and supporting strategic business growth.

Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze information necessary for proposals supporting Phase IV, observational, real-world, registry, and evidence generation studies. Assisting in the preparation, development, and formatting of proposals and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements, operational capabilities, and industry best practices. Supporting the evaluation of RFPs and bid strategies, helping to identify key study design, operational, and commercial considerations associated with Late Phase and Real World research programs. Coordinating with subject matter experts across clinical operations, biostatistics, data management, epidemiology, patient-centered outcomes, and HEOR teams to obtain input on technical aspects of proposals. Conducting thorough reviews of proposal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, compliance, and alignment with client objectives while supporting timely submission of high-quality deliverables. Supporting proposal managers in managing timelines, tracking milestones, and coordinating activities across stakeholders to ensure successful proposal development and submission.

Your Profile: You will have a strong foundation in proposal development with experience supporting Late Phase and Real World research opportunities. You are detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, public health, communications, or a related discipline. Previous experience in proposal development, business development support, project coordination, or a related function within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, CRO, or clinical research industry. Experience developing proposals and responding to RFPs for Late Phase, Real World Evidence (RWE), observational, registry, post-marketing, or non-interventional studies strongly preferred. Understanding of clinical research methodologies, including Phase IV studies, prospective and retrospective observational research, patient registries, and real-world data collection approaches. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop client-focused proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple proposal opportunities simultaneously under competing deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex scientific and operational information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%).
