Family Medicine Faculty

Family Medicine Residency Spokane is seeking a full‑time, board‑certified Family Medicine physician for a faculty position. Family Medicine Residency Spokane was established in 1972 as a flagship Family Medicine Residency program affiliated with the University of Washington School of Medicine. Home to the first OB Fellowship in the country, the program educates 6 core residents and two rural‑track residents a year in a state‑of‑the‑art teaching health clinic. Physicians in this program collaborate strongly with the Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Residencies in a patient‑centered, medical‑home model at the Spokane Teaching Health Clinic (STHC). The sponsoring institutions are a consortium between Washington State University, Empire Health Foundation and Providence Health & Services. Duties would capitalize on your talent and passion in the following capacities: Supervision and instruction of resident physicians in the STHC ambulatory setting and obstetrical floor or inpatient hospital service Abbreviated direct patient care in the STHC and/or Maternity Clinic Call while staffing the Family Medicine hospital service and/or obstetrical service Advising resident physicians Delivering didactic lectures, workshops and informal educational presentations Curricular and programmatic oversight A variety of administrative duties Compensation is between $222,757 to $308,426 per year The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. This program collaborates with internal medicine and psychiatry residencies in a patient‑centered medical home model at the Spokane Teaching Health Clinic, and is among the first programs with a rural training track in the country.
