Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent critical thinking and nursing skills. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective care to patients experiencing a range of acute medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care and monitor patients in the ER.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct assessments and document patient information accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting.
• Active RN License (temporary licenses not accepted).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Experience with Meditech documentation is preferred.
