Their Ohio facility houses lighting and mold design, construction, production engineering, and dedicated associates in our Quality, Assembly, Sales, and Customer Service departments./ppHow You Will Outshine:/pulliDemonstrating solid organization skills/liliBeing attentive to every detail/liliExercising critical thinking/liliSolving problems/liliWorking well independently and with a team in a positive manner/liliAble to present ideas in a professional manner/li/ulpWhat You Will Be Doing:/pulliIndependently identifying issues with equipment and taking necessary action with minimal guidance./liliPerforming preventative maintenance tasks./liliDocumenting work activity in Maximo reporting software./liliFollowing all QWI and departmental policies while performing assigned responsibilities./liliWorking with vendors/contractors for quoting/ordering parts and ensuring quality outcomes./liliIdentifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing new methods to reduce equipment related downtime and improving the efficiency of maintenance operation./liliAssisting more senior technicians with assigned project work./liliAssisting less senior technicians with new skills and troubleshooting./liliAccurately signing out materials on work orders./liliAttending all training sessions provided at on or offsite locations./liliEnsuring that PE2 maintenance area 2S 3D is maintained to standards./liliInitiating deviations./liliParticipating in continuous improvement activities (DT reduction, Reject reduction, etc.)./liliAssisting Engineering with special projects as needed./liliIdentifying, scheduling and managing minor improvement and group activities./liliIdentifying QC related issues and working with external departments to develop solutions./liliPerforming (with assistance) root cause analysis and identifying countermeasure activity for PDCA items./liliOrganizing and leading teams in improvement projects./liliActing as a liaison between own and other departments./liliSupporting manufacturing by addressing problem solving issues and theorizing improvement ideas to achieve maximum machine efficiency./liliParticipating in daily maintenance/repair duties to ensure machine reliability./liliManaging manufacturing downtime and implementing countermeasures based on maintenance downtime reports to ensure downtime targets are achieved./liliWriting PLC ladder logic programs and is familiar with software used by the department (vision software, scanners, etc.)./li/ulpHow You Will Be Rewarded:/pulliMedical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance/lili401K Retirement Savings with Company Match/liliTuition Reimbursement and more!/li/ulpHow You Will Qualify:/pulliYou have a minimum of 8 years of experience as a Molding Technician in a manufacturing environment./liliYou are able to identify and repair complex technical problems in molding equipment./liliYou are able to create a new setup on most machines with little or no supervision./liliYou can demonstrate knowledge of departmental procedures and equipment processes./liliYou can demonstrate Electrical/ Mechanical knowledge./liliYou can demonstrate knowledge of Hydraulics/pneumatics./liliYou can demonstrate knowledge of electrical and hydraulic print / schematic reading and interpretation./liliYou can demonstrate knowledge of injection molding main principles./liliExperience rebuilding electrical/hydraulic equipment./liliYou are able to use a variety of tools./li/ulpWorking Conditions:/pulliAbility to lift 40 lbs./liliGeneral Office Environment one (1) hours per day./liliManufacturing Environment seven (7) hours per day./liliOvernight travel may be required for training./liliRequired to work overtime (unplanned and unscheduled) to meet customer or internal deadlines and requirements./liliWhile performing the job the position is frequently exposed to moving or mechanical parts./liliModerate noise levels with specific areas required to wear hearing protection./liliExposure to equipment, electric shock, conveyors and chemicals./liliApproximately 2 hours per day bending./li/ul/div
