WI - Sr FSE- Re-platform backfillJob#: 3056182Job Description:Senior Software DeveloperLocation: Westlake, Texas (Hybrid)Role OverviewAn opportunity is available for a Senior Software Developer to join a high-performing technology team supporting mission-critical platforms. This role is for an experienced full-stack engineer with deep Angular front-end experience, strong backend development skills, and a proven ability to design and support scalable APIs in a complex enterprise environment. The selected candidate will play a key role in building modern, secure, and high-performing applications while collaborating with product owners, architects, and other engineering teams in a hybrid model.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular.Build and enhance backend services and RESTful APIs supporting enterprise-scale applications.Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on system design, integrations, and technical decisions.Ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and compliance requirements.Write high-quality, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to root cause analysis and remediation.Mentor junior developers and help drive engineering standards and best practices.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.Experience: 7+ years of professional software development experience.Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, component-based architecture) and solid experience with backend development (Java, Spring Boot, .NET, or similar enterprise frameworks). Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, along with a strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and design patterns. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments, CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing is required.Preferred QualificationsExperience with financial services, investments, or regulated environments.Exposure to cloud platforms, with AWS preferred.Experience with microservices architecture.Knowledge of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across distributed teams.Company Overview & CultureOur organization is a leader in the financial services industry, committed to technology leadership, innovation, and continuous learning.
