Cognitive Infrastructure | Federal + Commercial Markets Solutions Architect Federal + Commercial Markets Aperio Global helps government and commercial organizations solve complex challenges through AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, cloud modernization, data analytics, and next-generation technology solutions. We're looking for a Senior Solutions Architect/ Engineer who can bridge technical expertise with business development and revenue generation. We need someone who can engage executives, technical teams, program leaders, and decision-makers, understand their challenges, architect practical solutions, and help drive opportunities from initial conversations through contract award. If you're equally comfortable discussing AI architectures, cloud strategies, cybersecurity challenges, and business outcomes-and know how to convert those conversations into revenue-we want to talk to you. What You'll Do:
Lead discovery sessions with federal and commercial customers to understand mission objectives, operational challenges, technical environments, and business priorities.
Translate complex AI/ML, cybersecurity, cloud, and data analytics capabilities into compelling business value for both technical and executive audiences.
Design and scope pilot programs, proof-of-concepts, and phased solution deployments with measurable outcomes and clear paths to production.
Deliver impactful demonstrations, technical presentations, workshops, and solution briefings that build confidence and accelerate buying decisions.
Support opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle-from qualification and solution development through proposal support and contract close.
Collaborate closely with leadership, engineering, product, and delivery teams to align customer needs with scalable solutions.
Enable strategic partners, channel organizations, and system integrators through technical presentations, solution collateral, and joint customer engagements.
Maintain strong deal discipline by balancing customer requirements, delivery risk, scalability, and profitability. What You Bring:
5+ years of experience in Technical Sales, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technology Consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
Demonstrated success supporting or closing complex technology solutions.
Strong understanding of AI/ML, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, data analytics platforms, and modern enterprise architectures.
Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, operators, executives, procurement teams, and business stakeholders.
Experience supporting federal, commercial, or regulated-industry customers.
Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to move opportunities from discovery through contract award. Preferred Experience:
Defense, Intelligence Community, DHS , Civilian Federal, Critical Infrastructure, or highly regulated commercial markets.
NVIDIA ecosystem, AI infrastructure, or accelerated computing environments.
Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud .
Security operations, cyber defense, threat intelligence, or enterprise security solutions.
Data platforms, analytics ecosystems, visualization technologies, or large-scale data architectures.
Existing relationships within federal technology and partner ecosystems. What Success Looks Like:
Within your first 90 days, you will:
Build and qualify a meaningful pipeline of opportunities.
Scope and launch pilot engagements with target customers.
Establish credibility with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Help shorten sales cycles through effective technical engagement.
Reduce executive dependency for day-to-day technical sales conversations.
