About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 17 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Valid State License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: CPI Blue Card Description: Shift schedule is nights, three days a week, Sunday to Saturday. Contract length is 17 weeks. Ratios are applied as needed. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. First-time travelers are welcome. Local candidates are accepted. Float required on the unit. Weekend coverage is required. Guaranteed hours are not specified. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient ratio experience is necessary. Experience with charting systems is required. Charting system experience with EPIC is necessary. Travel experience is preferred. All required certifications must be in hand when applying. Candidates must be comfortable with potential interviews. Interdisciplinary support is available in the unit. Skills include telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and management of various medical devices and procedures. Module completion during orientation is necessary and varies by specialty. All references submitted must be from supervisors. No requests for time off will be approved within the first two weeks of the assignment. Maximum of seven days of time off is highly preferred per contract duration. All time off requests must be noted during submission. Valid license and certifications must be confirmed prior to applying. CPI Blue Card must be in hand for all applicable nurses. EPIC experience must be documented in work history. Local candidates will be considered at the same rate as travelers. Returning staff must have been away for a minimum of one year before reapplying.
