Water Operator Trainee (No Certification Required)

We are seeking a Water Operator Trainee to assist with the operation and maintenance of water production and distribution systems. This is an entry‑level, hands‑on role with opportunities for training and advancement in the water industry. Pay: Up to $21.49 per hour Key Responsibilities Assist in operating and maintaining water distribution and production systems Perform minor repairs on pumps, valves, hydrants, and pipelines Monitor gauges, meters, and control panels Support installation and maintenance of water system components Clean and maintain equipment, vehicles, and work areas Perform basic maintenance tasks (lubrication, inspections, groundskeeping) Record meter readings and maintain operational logs Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE Participate in on‑call rotation as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications Basic mechanical or maintenance experience Familiarity with hand and power tools Exposure to equipment, pumps, or utility systems Work Environment Indoor and outdoor work in industrial environments Exposure to equipment, weather, confined spaces, and physical labor Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks #J-18808-Ljbffr
