Estimator - Transmission / Distribution / Substation Construction
We are looking for a full-time Estimator to join our team of experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of substation construction and maintenance, electrical transmission & distribution, and high voltage T&D.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit cost estimates for substation construction and maintenance projects.
- Work with engineers and project managers to develop project plans and budgets.
- Manage the bidding process for substation construction projects.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in substation construction and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical transmission & distribution systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
