Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings required; must be comfortable treating primarily SNF patients with some acute care patients.
Experience working within a full on-site therapy team and collaborating with an on-site Director.
Demonstrated proficiency with common PT interventions and documentation standards for SNF/acute populations.
Valid professional liability insurance if required by facility.
Preferred: experience with mobility programs, fall prevention protocols, and skilled documentation for Medicare/Medicaid billing.

Facility Type: Hospital serving SNF and some acute patients.
Client note: PT/SNF-Acute primarily SNF, but some acute patients. Full team with on-site Director.
