SUMMARY The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. The role includes parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, providing directions, and delivering guest amenities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintains a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients. Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet, using guest last names during interactions. (25%) Greets guests with a salutation of the day, welcomes them to the location, practices proper phone etiquette, and manages workload in designated areas when not completing tasks. (10%) Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assists guests with bell services and luggage storage. Opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests. (20%) Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provides information about facilities and local attractions; delivers messages, items, and amenities; shuttles guests to approved locations. (10%) Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures, issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys, collects claim checks prior to issuing keys, maintains ticket information and related documents, calculates and collects revenue when necessary. (35%) QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or GED. Licensure/Certification: Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or a commutable distance from that state. Experience: At least one month of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge: Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Skills: Read/write standard English; comprehend simple instructions; write simple correspondence; present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings; perform basic arithmetic with money; understand 24‑hour/military time systems; understand parking rate structures; operate a manual transmission; parallel parking proficiency.
