Selling Branch Manager

HireQuest Direct – Birmingham, AL

Base Salary: $50,000–$55,000 + Commission & Bonuses
Location: Birmingham, AL

HireQuest Direct is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Selling Branch Manager to lead our Birmingham branch. This is a hands-on leadership position that gives you the opportunity to split your time between outside sales and branch operations , while building a successful staffing business.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys both winning new business and leading people . You'll be responsible for developing client relationships, generating revenue, managing branch operations, and building a team that delivers exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person sales
• Build relationships with businesses throughout the Birmingham market
• Sell staffing solutions across construction, hospitality, manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, events, and other industries
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts
• Oversee the daily operations of the Birmingham branch
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and manage temporary employees
• Coordinate staffing needs and ensure client positions are properly filled
• Lead and motivate branch employees to achieve sales and operational goals
• Monitor branch performance, staffing levels, and customer satisfaction
• Resolve client and employee issues quickly and professionally
• Help build the branch into a profitable and growing operation

What We're Looking For

• Previous staffing, recruiting, sales, or management experience preferred
• Strong business development and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable making cold calls and conducting face-to-face sales
• Leadership and management experience preferred
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership of a branch
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to balance sales responsibilities with day-to-day operations
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation & Benefits

• $50,000–$55,000 base salary
