Driver Helper I

Our client, a leading logistics and delivery services provider, is seeking a Driver Helper I to join their team. As a Driver Helper , you will be part of the delivery support team supporting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Driver Helper I

Location: Moab, UT

Pay Range: $18

Shift: Monday - Saturday, with start times as early as 2 am

What's the Job?

• Assist drivers with unloading products from trailers and moving them to customer delivery areas using hand trucks, dollies, or other equipment.
• Verify delivery accuracy by checking orders, rotating products, and inspecting product quality.
• Provide professional customer service, addressing delivery concerns or escalating issues as needed.
• Secure products in the truck to prevent damage during transport.
• Support safety procedures, including pre-trip inspections and safe delivery practices.

What's Needed?

• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 90 pounds.
• Ability to walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and climb in and out of delivery trucks throughout the workday.
• Basic math skills for counting inventory and completing delivery documentation accurately.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Experience using hand trucks, dollies, or electric pallet jacks is preferred.
