About the Role
The Company is seeking a Regional VP, Operations & Finance, who will also serve as a Chief Financial Officer with a strong focus on operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the regional P&L, leading the annual CMS bid process, and providing strategic and financial analysis to support various regional functions. This role requires a leader with an in-depth understanding of health plan financials, the interrelation of organizational capabilities, and the ability to develop strategies that enhance operational effectiveness and support the region's membership, medical expense, admin, and margin targets. The Regional VP will also be accountable for the design and implementation of policies and procedures, establishing management and performance controls, and cultivating business relationships for technical knowledge and performance improvement. Applicants for the Regional VP, Operations & Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree and a CPA. A minimum of 8 years' finance experience in the health solutions industry is required, with at least 3 years in a CFO or COO role with finance experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Part D coverage, as well as experience with the annual CMS bid process. Leadership skills, the ability to build and lead high-performing teams, and excellent communication and presentation skills are essential. The role also demands a candidate with a deep understanding of the South Central region's market dynamics, value-based care, and experience in areas such as provider contracting, market operations, and Medicare risk adjustment.
