About the Role: We are seeking passionatesales consultantto join our team in our mid town NYC showroom. As a Sales Consultant, you will deliver a luxury shopping experience, build lasting client relationships, and embody the Ashley Zhang aesthetic. This role is client-facing and sales-driven, with a focus on personalized service, product expertise, and achieving individual and company performance goals. Client Experience & Sales: Drive sales by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and providing expert advice on fine jewelry. Foster an exceptional shopping experience by delivering personalized service and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. Act as a brand ambassador by cultivating loyal client relationships and ensuring every interaction reflects the Ashley Zhang aesthetic and values. Cultivate relationships with new and existing clients to understand their preferences, tastes, and purchasing history, utilizing this knowledge for effective clienteling. Demonstrate expert knowledge of our fine jewelry collections, including materials, craftsmanship, and design aesthetics, to confidently advise and assist clients in their purchasing decisions. Actively engage with clients to showcase the uniqueness and beauty of our products, utilizing storytelling and product knowledge to create an emotional connection. Maintain a pristine and welcoming showroom environment, ensuring displays are visually appealing, and products are presented with care and attention to detail. Operational Support: Assist with store operations as needed, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintaining showroom standards. Perform opening and closing duties as needed, ensuring the showroom is prepared for daily operations and adhering to security protocols and procedures. Adhere to people safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Ensure adherence to all operational procedures and policies. Qualifications: ~1+ years previous experience in luxury retail sales, with a proven track record of success in selling luxury products. ~ Genuine passion for luxury jewelry and a keen eye for design, with the ability to articulate the value and beauty of our products to clients. ~ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse clientele. ~ Strong clienteling skills, including the ability to maintain and leverage client relationships for long-term business growth. ~ Results-oriented mindset, with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets and expectations. ~ Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering excellence in every aspect of the client experience. ~ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. ~ Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including limited evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required. Details: Full-time or part-time role located in midtown NYC Office Hours: 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, with the knowledge that we have a startup culture and your day may extend past listed office hours We offer generous employee discounts on our fine jewelry Paid time off.
