Job Summary We are hiring immediately for a full‑time COOK position at Allergan – 5 Giralda Farms, Madison, NJ 07940. This role requires online applications only. Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty; taste all prepared food items. Use established ticket collection procedures during service; record activity from the area worked during service periods. Clean kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness; store or discard excess food per safe food‑handling procedures. Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat; ensure food and supply items are stored per standards. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed. Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required. Assist in ordering and receiving all food and supplies as required. Report maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately. Attend in‑service and safety meetings. Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers. Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards. Commit personally to safety for self and others. Abide by all company policies and procedures, including: Use of medium‑weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins, or cleaning a slicer. Use of oven mitts, fryer gloves, or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers, or steamtables. Use of slip‑resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques. Qualifications Previous cooking experience required; high volume production preferred. Additional Information Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Flik maintains a drug‑free workplace.
