Electrical Engineer

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our expert team in Shoreham-by-Sea. The Role This is an exciting opportunity to work on highly specialised engineering projects, designing electrical systems for equipment operating in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX / IECEx). You’ll play a key role in both bespoke customer solutions and new product development, working closely with engineering and commercial teams to deliver innovative, compliant, and cost-effective designs. Key Responsibilities Design electrical systems for hazardous area applications (gas and dust environments) Produce electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical Integrate control and protection systems into complex machinery and engines Specify and select electrical components and systems Support compliance, testing, and product certification activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales and Engineering Provide technical expertise throughout the customer project lifecycle About You You’re a proactive and detail-oriented engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working in a collaborative environment. You will bring: Experience in electrical system design and integration Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems Familiarity with PLCs or industrial control systems Experience using AutoCAD Electrical The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Working within regulated or compliance-driven environments Knowledge of ATEX / IECEx standards Experience with AC/DC systems, CANbus, or EMC Qualifications Degree or HND in Electrical, Electronic, or Automotive Engineering (or equivalent experience) What We Offer At Pyroban, we are committed to supporting our people and creating an environment where you can thrive.
