Finance Manager

The Family Office Finance Manager plays a critical role in overseeing financial operations, reporting, and investment coordination within a high-net-worth family office. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting, budgeting, cash flow and financial reporting, and wealth management. RESPONSIBILITIES Treasury & Cash Management Maintain accurate financial records and manage accounts Prepare monthly bank reconciliations Perform cash flow forecasting and prepare weekly cash balance reports, monitoring specific accounts daily Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and short-term financial needs Process bill payments and coordinate wire transfers Assist in preparation and oversight of annual budgets and reforecasting Prepare financial reports and investment performance analysis, including balance sheets, summaries of real estate investments, marketable securities performance (including returns and diversification), income statements, and cash flow summaries Assist in developing and maintaining robust financial controls and governance frameworks in line with the family’s goals Coordinate charitable giving and impact investments Maintain records and support related to charitable donations and gifts Track lifetime exemptions for tax purposes Coordinate funding of capital calls for new or existing investments. Complete new investment paperwork and coordinate signatures Maintain a detailed log of all investment activity Prepare quarterly investment performance and benchmarking reports Prepare research summary analysis of potential investments Taxes Collaborate with tax preparers to provide necessary information for tax returns Identify areas for tax savings and/or perform tax research, as necessary Liaison with External Advisors Collaborate with external professionals such as attorneys and investment advisors Ensure seamless communication and coordination between the family office and external experts QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Tax experience and/or knowledge is a plus Excellent communication and organizational abilities Strong Excel skills are required Background in HNW accounting or a family office, 5-8+ years preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
