Texas Health Allen, 1105 Central Expressway North, Allen, TX 75013 26010400 Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED) Bring your passion to Texas Health So We Are Better + Together Work location Texas Health Allen, 1105 Central Expressway North, Allen, TX 75013 Work Hours Full Time/Evenings 7P-7A for 36 hrs/week Weekend and holiday requirements Emergency Department Highlights Flexible scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth Opportunities for growth Fast-Paced, high-volume department averaging 70-90 patients/day; diverse patient population Department engagement encourages as well as required staff meetings Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma in nursing required or Associate’s degree in nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred 1 year of experience as registered nurse required 1+ year(s) of recent experience as an RN in an acute care ED setting strongly preferred RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required and BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required and CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually within 90 days required and ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days and PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days and TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course upon hire preferred A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
