Senior Logistics Manager - Dedicated Transportation (Relo Assistance)

Summary The Senior Manager Logistics provides leadership for the Distribution Center and supervisors, who are directly responsible for turnkey warehousing and transportation solutions. The incumbent will maintain a high level interface directly with the customer on a regular basis. Responsibilities Interface directly with the customer to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation. Identify and solve operational issues with the account(s) by implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives to strengthen team unity, goals, productivity and results. Hire, supervise, develop and manage performance for employees and maintain a positive employee relations environment at assigned account(s). Maintain open and effective communications within the work group(s) and with other work groups within the organization, reviewing data, identifying and implementing necessary actions as required. Manage the profit and loss statements based on the complexity and scope of the organization. Lead a proactive safety program consistent with company policy to provide a safe and secure work environment, instruct and enforce location safety management plans, training and processes, and monitor equipment maintenance. Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred. Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred. Five (5) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related industry required. Five (5) years or more managing, leading and developing direct reports required. Three (3) years or more profit and loss responsibility preferred. One (1) year or more customer interaction preferred. Compensation Salary is determined based on internal equity and market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience. A 10% annual bonus may be supplemental. Salary ranges: $90K – $100K. Additional compensation may include annual bonus, commission and/or long‑term incentive plan depending on level and type.
