Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Mid Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) | Expected 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary
• Communicate changes in patient clinical condition with physicians, nursing supervisors/managers, and co-workers as appropriate
• Participate in the discharge planning process
• Work across multiple inpatient units serving adult, geriatric, and pediatric (ages 5-17) behavioral health populations
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:8 (variable; lower ratios on geriatric and pediatric units) using Cerner EHR

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure valid in Massachusetts
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to start
• HWC (Handle With Care) certification required prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health setting
• Graduated from an accredited BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma program
• Must be willing to float across units and work with both adult and pediatric populations
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience working with diverse behavioral health diagnoses including schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and anxiety
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR
• Comfortable working with geriatric and pediatric (5-17) patient populations
