Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced ED RN for a travel assignment in the bustling city of Utica, NY. This role is situated within a dynamic Emergency Department requiring versatile skills to cater to a wide spectrum of patients from newborn to geriatric, including surgical acute needs and trauma cases. Nurses in this environment are expected to work collaboratively and efficiently as part of a cohesive team.

Key Responsibilities of the ED RN

• Provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient group, from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Administer specialized equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Effectively manage and deliver critical medications and drips
• Float across units as required, particularly in high-need situations
• Document care and travel experience meticulously as per facility standards
• Participate in emergency procedures and provide SANE care for assigned patients

Requirements of the ED RN

• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• Active NY License, verified through NURSYS
• At least 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department with pediatric exposure
• Documented travel nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• Valid driver's license with matching demographics
