Farmers Insurance Northern District is looking for an experienced sales professional to join a growing agency team.

This opportunity is designed for someone who knows how to build relationships, generate business, follow up consistently, overcome objections, and close sales — and who is interested in building a long-term career with the potential to eventually operate their own Farmers agency.

You do not need insurance experience to apply. We are interested in proven sales professionals from a variety of industries who have the drive, professionalism, and relationship-building skills to succeed in insurance.

Insurance knowledge and licensing can be learned. Strong sales ability, accountability, and the desire to build a career are what we're looking for.

You'll work directly with customers and prospects to identify opportunities, present solutions, and develop lasting relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop new business through provided leads, prospecting, referrals, and follow-up
  
• Meet with prospective customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  
• Conduct consistent follow-up with prospects and existing customers
  
• Present products and solutions with confidence and professionalism
  
• Handle questions and objections while helping customers make informed decisions
  
• Develop long-term customer relationships and contribute to agency growth
  
• Track sales activity and work toward individual and team goals
  
• Participate in ongoing sales training and professional development
  
• Take ownership of your results, pipeline, and daily activity

Your previous industry does not have to be insurance. Strong candidates may come from backgrounds such as:

Previous professional sales experience is required. Insurance experience and existing licenses are preferred, but insurance experience is not required.

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain:

• Colorado General Lines Property & Casualty license
  
• Colorado Life & Health insurance license

Training and guidance will be provided to help you learn the insurance business and prepare for licensing.

Schedule : Monday–Friday; no weekends
