Overview
Travel Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology in Columbia, Missouri. This 13-week travel assignment starts on 09/07/2026 and offers a weekly pay range of $2,340 to $2,473 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The role operates on a 5x8 rotating schedule, typically daytime hours (roughly 08:00–16:30) with weekend and weeknight call rotations. The position supports an IR service within a hospital setting and requires collaboration with radiologists and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive head-to-toe patient assessments and monitor for post-procedural or procedure-related complications.
- Assist and monitor patients during interventional radiology procedures, including sedation for invasive procedures and post-sedation recovery.
- Manage IV access, PICC/Central lines, and vascular devices; maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety.
- Explain procedures to patients and family members, address questions, and communicate patient needs to radiologists and other team members.
- Monitor vital signs, document findings, and respond to deteriorations with rapid, appropriate interventions; ensure radiation safety and adherence to unit policies.
- Support a range of IR procedures and related care, including port placements/removals, CT-guided biopsies, IVC filter placements/removals, nephrostomy tubes, and other listed interventions; participate in non-invasive tasks such as MRI-related monitoring as required.
- Collaborate with cross-department staff to balance multiple responsibilities, adapt to new environments, and maintain high-quality patient care.

Requirements
- Experience and skills aligned with intraprocedural and post-procedural RN responsibilities:
- Line management skills: IV insertion, PICC/central line management, vascular device access/care
- Cardiac skills: Tele interpretation, cardioversion/defibrillation
- Airway skills: Procedural sedation
- OB/GYN/OR skills: Circulate
- Availability for weekend and weeknight call rotations as part of the IR service
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital IR environment and coordinate with radiology staff
