Registered Nurse - Pediatric Critical Care

Role Overview Provides leadership and coordination of unit staffing to ensure quality patient care and achievement of clinical objectives. Assesses patient care needs, develops care assignments, and collaborates with advanced practice providers to optimize outcomes. Monitors staff performance, contributes to hiring and training, and evaluates care effectiveness. Responds to patient care concerns and manages related issues through established channels. Performs other duties as assigned, maintaining safety and alertness at all times. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing Minimum of one year registered nurse experience Strong communication, assessment, and leadership skills Ability to evaluate patient care and staff performance Physical ability to perform duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and data entry Certifications & Licenses Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to the work location Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Additional certifications such as ALS, ENPC, NRP, PALS, or TNCC depending on the state Key Responsibilities Assigns, directs, and educates nursing/support staff during shifts Evaluates patient care quality and addresses issues impacting outcomes Collaborates with providers to ensure optimal care Participates in staff hiring, training, and performance evaluations Responds to patient care concerns and manages complaints #J-18808-Ljbffr
