Data Management Operations Lead

Required Skills & Experience Basic Qualifications:\n\n· Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields) or equivalent relevant work experience.\n\n· 7+ years experience with data-related operations, business operations or process support role\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n· 7+ years of experience with data-related operations, business operations, or process support roles, working with or in business operations and reporting processes, and translating business data needs into technical language and partnering with team and technical partners ensure effective solution delivery.\n\n· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.\n\n· Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify and build sustainable solutions.\n\n· Thorough knowledge of various software programs including Microsoft Office programs, and the ability to quickly learn new programs/systems.\n\n· Experience working with SQL, Snowflake, Tableau.\n\n· Strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills\n\n· Strong problem-solving skills, focusing on outcomes and results.\n\n· Understanding of Data Management principles, best practices and processes\n\n· Proven experience leading data operations teams or initiatives in a complex, enterprise environment.\n\n· Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and influencing without direct authority.\n\n· Demonstrated success in designing and implementing scalable, efficient workflows and controls.\n\n· Experience with operational risk management and compliance in a regulated industry.\n\n· Track record of leading process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.\n\n· Professional certifications such as:\n\n· CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) – demonstrating expertise in data governance, quality, and architecture.\n\n· DGSP (Data Governance and Stewardship Professional) – highlighting experience in stewardship and governance frameworks.\n\n· PMP (Project Management Professional) – indicating strong project leadership and delivery skills.\n\n· Hands-on experience with enterprise data management tools, such as:\n\n· Collibra or Alation for data governance and cataloging.\n\n· Informatica, Talend, or Ataccama for data quality and integration.\n\n· Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery for cloud-based data operations. The ideal candidate will have banking or financial services experience and a background in data management, data governance, and data quality.\n\nThis individual will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and availability of data used across the organization.
