26-Foot Box Truck Driver (Non-CDL)

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced 26-foot box truck driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining professionalism while representing the company.

Responsibilities:

Operate a 26-foot box truck safely and efficiently
Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly
Plan and follow delivery routes and schedules
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
Communicate with dispatch and team members regarding deliveries
Provide excellent customer service during pickups and drop-offs

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license (CDL not required, but a plus)
Clean driving record
Experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred
Ability to lift and move heavy items (50+ lbs)
Strong time management and reliability
Basic knowledge of local and regional routes
DOT Medical card

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous delivery or logistics experience
Familiarity with GPS/navigation systems and route planning

Work Environment:

Local and/or regional routes
Physical, hands-on role with regular lifting and movement
Independent work with team coordination
