Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist (Radiologic Technologist) position located in Eureka, California. This role involves providing radiologic therapy services in an acute care environment, with a focus on treating patients with various cancers and medical conditions using advanced radiation techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience in adult acute care and outpatient settings, with proficiency in various imaging and treatment modalities.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Valid California license, ARRT T (Radiation Therapy) certification, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of experience in adult acute care and outpatient radiotherapy.
• Certifications: ARRT T, BLS
• Charting System Experience: Epic
• Specific Experience: Radiation therapy for adult oncology patients, including protocols such as IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), external beam therapy, and treatment planning. Ability to perform CBCT/kV/mV imaging, craniospinal treatments, and use of external therapy equipment.
• Additional Requirements: Must be willing to float between sister facilities, work 2 out of 3 major holidays, and comply with RTO restrictions. References required: 2 references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years.
• Travel Compliance: RTO must be included at time of submission.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in radiotherapy.
• Other: Must have current CA license in hand, and be comfortable working with Epic charting system.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
