Insight Global is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to support its Durham Patient Service Center. This individual will perform blood collections on patients of all ages , including pediatric patients , while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, punctual, comfortable with difficult draws, and able to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and a positive patient experience.

Day-to-Day

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for patients of all age groups, including pediatrics
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol testing, and other services
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain accurate patient and specimen documentation
• Enter patient information accurately and efficiently
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed
• Support a high-volume PSC averaging 100-130 patients per day
• Travel to additional sites if needed

Must-Haves

• High school diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy certification, completed phlebotomy training programmer at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience
• Minimum 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience
• Experience performing venipuncture on patients of all age groups
• Experience with a variety of vein types, including difficult draws
• Basic computer skills and comfort with data entry
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test
