Datacenter Hardware Engineering Technician

12-month contract with possible extension for a Datacenter Hardware Engineering Technician in Santa Clara, CA (3 days per week onsite)

Requirements:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, and 4+ years of equivalent experience in a lab or datacenter environment.
• Ability to work independently without requiring constant supervision.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Basic experience with PowerShell and/or CMD scripting.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues of varying skill levels.
• Persistence in debugging complex issues and the ability to think creatively to solve problems
• To succeed in this role, you should enjoy working with close-knit, multidisciplinary teams and be comfortable with hands-on work involving state-of-the-art platforms.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
• Basic experience with Python or Go.
• Familiarity with Git or Perforce for checking out, editing, and checking in scripts.
• Ability to write SQL queries to retrieve data from MySQL databases.
