Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No previous experience allowed for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Renown Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Renown Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: - Must apply for State of Nevada Point of Care Analyst, Director of Point of Care, or General Supervisor of Point of Care license prior to start.

Unit Details: - Performs respiratory therapy procedures per protocol and physician orders in a direct patient care role. - Primarily supports critical care, adult general care, and pediatric general care; may provide respiratory care at a secondary care site.

Shift & Scheduling: - Rotating days of the week; schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends and major holidays. - May be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period. - Call requirements to be discussed during interview.

Floating Requirements: - May be required to float to the needs of the organization up to competency level.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
