Job Opportunity – Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician – Michigan

Start Date: January 1, 2027

Location: Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with nightly call coverage on weekdays and 24-hour call coverage on weekends. After January 2027, anticipated twice-monthly recurring coverage (in-house Thursday–Friday, call Saturday–Sunday). Call back is minimal, approximately 1 per call shift if any.

Highlights:

Full-time coverage needed through approximately January 24, 2027; part-time/twice-monthly coverage thereafter
Level III NICU facility with approximately 3,000 deliveries annually
Daily inpatient/LD volume averaging 2 patients (0–5 patients/day); up to 8 ultrasounds per day with 1 sonographer and 1 machine
MFM service supports both high- and low-risk obstetric patients; half-day high-risk resident clinic per week with 4–7 patients
Potential outpatient coverage at secondary location on Tuesday/Thursday half-days as needed
No delivery coverage, GYN surgery, or GYN call coverage expected

Requirements:

Board Certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Michigan state medical license or IMLC eligibility
BLS and ACLS certification
Required procedures: Amniocentesis, cerclage (including rescue), external cephalic version (ECV)
Preferred procedures: Chorionic villus sampling (CVS)
Must be able to interpret ultrasounds and perform required job procedures
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days
