Position Overview

We are looking for an empathetic and skilled Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech to join our expanding team of imaging specialists dedicated to providing outstanding care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you'll conduct diagnostic exams, collaborate closely with a nurturing team of healthcare providers, and offer comfort to patients through precise and timely imaging.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety, explaining each procedure clearly and compassionately
• Partner with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately while maintaining patient records within our electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

• Strong technical ability in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
