Machine Operator (3rd Shift)

Our client is a nationally recognized leader in the production and packaging of high-quality snack nuts, trail mixes, and consumer snack products. We are currently seeking dependable and motivated Machine Operators on 3rd shift (12am-7:30am) to join their manufacturing team at their Solon, Ohio facilities. Position Summary Machine Operators play a critical role in the production process by operating, monitoring, and maintaining food packaging equipment used to package consumer-ready snack products. Successful candidates will demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality products in a safe and efficient environment. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor automated packaging and production equipment Set up machinery and make routine operational adjustments as needed Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company and customer specifications Inspect packaging, labels, and finished products for accuracy and quality Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and notify maintenance personnel when necessary Record production data and complete required documentation accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Basic math skills and ability to perform simple calculations Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is helpful but not required Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift What We Offer Health insurance benefits 401(k) with company match Opportunities for career growth and advancement For over 90 years, our client has been committed to delivering quality snack products to customers nationwide.
