Job Summary
Electrophysiology (EP) Technician in a cardiology-focused healthcare environment. This role involves supporting electrophysiology procedures within a dedicated cardiac catheterization unit. The technician will assist in the preparation and monitoring of patients undergoing cardiac electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027.
• Required Qualifications: No formal experience requirement; relevant certifications such as RCIS, RCES, or RT are required. The candidate should possess a minimum of 1-2 years of EP Technician experience, with a background in cardiac catheterization procedures, including pacemakers, ICD devices, ablations, LAAO, and cardioversions.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac electrophysiology procedures and familiarity with the scope of EP lab responsibilities.
• Additional Information: The role involves scrubbing for and monitoring electrophysiology cases in a unit with 12 beds and an average monthly volume of 75 procedures. EMR system used is Cerner. The technician will be responsible for assisting during EP studies and procedures such as pacemakers, ICDs, ablations, and cardioversion. Scrub attire and dress code must be followed, with details provided prior to start. No guarantees for 48-hour shifts are available. The position may require occasional float to other units based on operational needs.
