We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Night Shift Caregiver to join our team. Job Summary As a Night Shift Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients during the night hours. Your role will involve ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of those in your care while monitoring their health and assisting with various daily activities. This position requires a compassionate individual who can work independently and effectively communicate with the healthcare team and family members. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care services including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Monitor the health and well-being of clients, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel. Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety and comfort. Prepare light meals or snacks as needed, catering to dietary restrictions and preferences. Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring adherence to proper schedules and dosages. Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship to reduce feelings of isolation. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including tidying living spaces and assisting with laundry. Document daily care activities and any significant changes in the client's condition. Communicate effectively with family members and the healthcare team regarding client needs and concerns. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification (CNA, HHA, etc.) preferred. Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or related field is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Basic first aid and CPR certification preferred. Must pass background checks and drug screening. Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move clients safely, using proper body mechanics. Capacity to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
