Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Contract)

Location: California 95482
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Pay: $1,816 – $2,041/week

• Variable Shift

• Primarily 5x8s (Evening coverage)

• Evening Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM or 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

• Temporary Night Coverage (approx. 6 weeks): 4x10s, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Rotating weekends (every other weekend)

• No call

• Perform and prioritize clinical lab testing across multiple departments

• Ensure accurate specimen processing, testing, and result reporting

• Perform blood bank testing (gel and tube methods)

• Validate results and ensure QA/QC compliance

• Maintain lab equipment, troubleshooting, and inventory

• Communicate critical values and support clinical teams

• Train and supervise lab assistants and support staff

• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient safety standards

• Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in CLS/Medical Technology or related field – Required

  • 3+ years clinical laboratory experience – Preferred

  • Strong blood bank experience (gel & tube methods) – Required

• Licensure/Certifications:

  • Active California CLS (Generalist) License – Required

  • ASCP or NCA Certification – Preferred

• Vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions may apply)

• No call requirement

• Schedule includes rotating weekend coverage
