We're looking for a full-time Senior Accounting Specialist - Accountant to join our finance team of top-notch professionals! We offer this hybrid role a competitive salary of $85,000-$95,000 per year.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR SENIOR ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST - ACCOUNTANT

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA certification preferred)
• 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in software pertaining to the role (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Supervisory experience and knowledge of tax regulations

WHAT TO EXPECT AS OUR SENIOR ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST - ACCOUNTANT

As our hybrid Senior Accounting Specialist - Accountant, you'll start your morning by diving into financial statements and ensuring every detail is in order. From there, you'll jump into general ledger management - reconciling accounts, posting journal entries, and making sure every number adds up. Your analytical skills will come to life as you support budgeting and forecasting efforts, keeping a close eye on financial performance and providing actionable insights. Each month-end, you take charge of closing processes, preparing adjustments, and resolving discrepancies. And you don't just crunch numbers - you'll guide junior team members and collaborate on tax strategies and audit support, all while contributing to a culture that values integrity, trust, and growth.

WHEN & WHERE YOU'LL WORK

This is a full-time hybrid finance position based in Lanham, MD. You'll spend 2 days onsite and 3 days working remotely each week, giving you the perfect blend of flexibility and in-office collaboration.
