ER Nurse - Emergency Room

SCHEDULE
Days 7a-7p

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Weeks: 13
Guaranteed Hours: Contract

REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2 years of experience
- Recent traveler experience highly preferred
- Licensure: OK State License or compact
- Certifications: BLS - AHA, NIH, ACLS - AHA, PALS - AHA, TNCC (preferred)
- Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess and triage patients presenting to the emergency room.
- Identify medical issues and determine severity of conditions.
- Provide immediate support to minimize long-term effects on patients.
- Sustain life through appropriate interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
