Watch Evaluator
The Evaluator assesses the condition of incoming watches and prepares repair estimates.
- Reads and interprets customer correspondence and enters appropriate symptom codes and comments regarding the issue into the system.
- Determines parts and labor requirements for individual repairs and inputs information into repair system.
- Assesses cost of repair based on symptom code and pricing table.
- Determines if watch repair is under warranty.
- Opens case back to check energy cell or battery, movement functions and overall condition of watch.
- Examines watch for damage and other abnormalities.
- Charges Eco Drive models and sets watches and monitors basic functions to determine repairs necessary.
- High school diploma or a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of watches a plus.
- Willingness to learn
