Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse

Salary: $31.25-$34.13 BOE

Schedule: Full time M-F 8:00 AM-5:00 PM OC

Location: Warren County Ohio and surrounding areas

Including: Mason and Springboro Ohio

Requirements of the Hospice LPN role:

Licensed Practical Nursing Degree
A minimum of 1 year of Clinical experience
BLS Certified
Hospice experience preferred
Valid Drivers License and Auto insurance Coverage
Reliable transportation

About the Hospice LPN ro le:

Provide skilled nursing care under the supervision of an RN
Assist Registered nurses in carrying out the plan of care.
Assist RN in performing specialized procedures( as defined in the state nurse practice act) as directed by the RN under physicians orders.
Actively participate in the IDGH in collaborating to ensure the patient plan of care is kept current and identified issues are addressed.
Assist reinforcement of patient and family education regarding end-of-life care.
Assume responsibility for personal and vocational growth and development through active participation in nursing organizations and participating in in-service programs and other on-the-job learning.
Keep the RNCM informed of changes noted during the process.
Participate in self-development by practicing further education workshops and conferences active in professional and related organizational meetings and individual research reading.
