Job TitleHealth System Specialist (Associate Group Practice Manager)DutiesThe selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.Assess processes and procedures to determine areas of effectiveness, efficiency, and improvement for proposal through local GPM group and supervisor.Assist in the evaluation of outpatient care patient feedback for access and quality measures at the facility.Collaborate with the Veterans Experience, clinic management, scheduling, and analytic groups.Collect and analyze/report trended data sets' makes recommendations to assist in the allocation of resources.Analyze and interpret complex data researches and prepares comprehensive reports.Advise departments associated with the allocation of fiscal, personnel, equipment, and space resources.Ensure record management guidelines are adhered to in the clinic setting.Perform cost analysis and cost effectiveness studies to determine make/buy decisions to address gaps.Monitor business and clinical analysis recommendations across service lines to determine trends and impact at the facility level.Develop programs and policies to meet Joint Commission standards and to ensure accreditation.Consult or advise clinical and administrative staff in the development, analysis and coordination of resource requests to include staff, space, and equipment.Assist clinic managers in forecasting the impact of staff changes and developing countermeasures to mitigate the effect of staff shortages on access to care.Implement process improvement and training opportunities that support frontline employees in providing predictable, consistent and comfortable customer service experiences.Maintains knowledge of CPM training materials and supports fulfillment of action plans to meet CPM training requirements.Work ScheduleMonday-Friday 08:00 a.m - 4:30 p.m.Position Description Title/PD#Health System Specialist (Associate Group Practice Manager)/PD99866S and PD99865SPhysical RequirementsThe work required does not inherently include any physical requirements essential for successful job performance that could otherwise be performed with accommodation or workplace adjustment.
